Genre: thrash metal / crossover
„Ecos da Selva Urbana“ (portuguese for „echoes from the urban jungle“) is Rasgo’s debut album, a band that features very well-known musicians from the portuguese metal/hardcore scene on their ranks, therefore known as a supergroup on their country.
This debut – which comes after a couple of meteoric live performances supporting Slayer or their show at VOA Fest – was written between 2013 and 2017, in a long and pressure-free creative process, resulting on a mature and dense thrash/crossover record, telling us that Rasgo have a very well-defined identity and which you can get to know by listening to these 10 tracks loaded with energy and a very sharp lyric content written in the language of Camoes.
